What do you have to lose? Enter a contest and spice up your life. When the original, very famous, sweepstakes offer shows up in your mailbox this year, sit down and complete the form and send it in. What do you have to lose? You may not win but while you are waiting for the drawing you will have something to anticipate!

Contests and sweepstakes are often free and free sweepstakes and contests are the best kind. You can enter contests in your local community by looking for fundraiser raffles. Give a little to a good cause and even if you don’t win, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you did something good. You might even win a car or a free meal at the best restaurant in town.  

We all know the guy who dials in to every radio contest in hopes of winning $100 or a free lunch. Contests to enter are as myriad as the people who enter the contests. You can find one for every taste. You may think contests are a waste of time but you can’t win unless you enter the contest. So, enter to win and see what happens.

You may believe you are unlucky but that should not stop you from entering a contest. For the price of a dollar or a few dollars you could win a free cruise or a vacation for two or four to an exotic location. You could win a contest and get a free spa treatment, or even a new home. Some contests have better odds than others. If the raffle ticket is a bit more expensive, but they are only selling one hundred tickets you have a better chance of winning.  

If you are a gambler, you will want to be careful. It is easy to spend a lot of money and enter contests each week without realizing how much money you are spending. We don’t want you to go overboard and spend more money than you should. We all have bills to pay and contests may or may not yield results. But for a little investment, and with reasonable expectations, you can spice up your life. Dream of the big win and perhaps you will win the big prize!
